Invention consulting

     Tekcem provides technical assessment services for inventions and patents, in the field of electronics. We can assess assets owned by your company, or a competitor, or a third party submitting inventions or patents for acquisition or licensing.

     Tekcem can also help your company to develop its patent portfolios. While each project is different, the approaches which are most frequently requested for consulting projects are product-centric:

• A pro-active process places a special emphasis on maximizing the intellectual property potential of a new product. Here, the goal is to let you enjoy the monopoly of one or more patents.
• A reactive process outputs design-arounds, based on competitive assessments and creativity. This can also lead to new inventions.

     Tekcem is not a law firm, and it has no in-house patent attorney or industrial property attorney (official translation of Conseil en propriété industrielle as defined in French law). Our consultants are R&D specialist engineers, each having a proven track record as a serial inventor having written and prosecuted the patents for his inventions, and as a project manager in charge of monetizing his inventions.
