Description.

The method disclosed in the patent family P58 uses an apparatus for radio communication that includes several antennas. It comprises the step of estimating a plurality of localization variables, each depending on the distance between a part of a human body and a zone of the apparatus for radio communication. It also comprises the step of generating a tuning instruction influenced by the localization variables, the tuning instruction having an effect on the reactance of the adjustable impedance devices of a multiple-antenna-port and multiple-user-port (MAPMUP) antenna tuner.

The method disclosed in the patent family P59 uses an apparatus for radio communication that includes several antennas. It comprises the step of controlling one or more characteristics of at least one of the antennas, through parameters which are adjustable by electrical means. It also comprises the step of generating a tuning instruction, the tuning instruction having an effect on said parameters and on the reactance of adjustable impedance devices of a MAPMUP antenna tuner.

The method disclosed in the patent family P60 uses an apparatus for radio communication that includes 3 or more antennas. It comprises the step of selecting several antennas among said antennas, the selected antennas being determined by a configuration instruction. It also comprises the step of generating a tuning instruction, the tuning instruction having an effect on the reactance of the adjustable impedance devices of a MAPMUP antenna tuner.
